The Watermans Richmond is an all day Restaurant and Bar in the centre of town, conveniently located on an ancient cobbled street that leads down to the waterfront.Our food is the best of British ingredients, served with a nod to southern Europe, with favourite dishes ranging from scallop ravioli to fregola, veal chops and day boat fish. Great restaurant, great food, great service. Unfortunately they allow dogs in the dining area, so make sure to specify you don't want to be anywhere near a dirty dog. Dogs put their noses in other dog's poo, and sometimes eat it. I cannot understand why they are allowed in a area where food is served. They are not allowed in the kitchen, or supermarkets for a very good reason.

Family get together for Sunday lunch. Was great from start to finish - nice welcome, great service, good food and so nice not to be hurried along so they can flip the table. All in all great ambience and always good food

The sushi was very high quality… but the sticks were so good we couldn’t pick a favourite- highlights were the oyster mushrooms, the scallops and the teriyaki salmon. Cocktails/mocktails were also very good with unusual herbal flavours not your usual over sugared type. Will definitely visit again.
