A complete interior remodel was recently completed features handset stonework throughout the restaurant. The floor to ceiling windows offer breathtaking views of the Court of the Fountains. Zagat Survey calls it: Carmel’s long-standing paean to graciousness in dining out. Along with updated and contemporary changes to the menus, ultimate table side service flambé desserts remain. As quoted in the Wine Spectator, Anton and Michel is “probably the best dining experience in downtown Carmel-by-the-Sea”.

Dametra Cafe is a casual Mediterranean restaurant. Here, diners can expect high-quality healthy food delivered quickly in a relaxed atmosphere. The decor and styling of the dining room is distinctly Greek, specifically like one of the many coastal cities that the country is known for. Do you love Italian food?     The short rib “white” mole was amazing. My wife had an amazing ahi dish. This is a hightenwd Mexican cuisine experience. Really high quality and nice people. Class inside too.

    Grasing’s is an excellent restaurant and the experience was definitely a memorable one! The food was exceptional, beautiful presentation and husband was extremely happy with the Grilled Spanish Octopus! Frayne, our waiter, was wonderful. Thank you Grasing’s!!!!

    Our server, Sergio was the best. Personable, knowledgeable, not pushy, good sense of humor and very welcoming. We had the early dinner specials. I usually order the East West KAlbi-style ribs and they are always delicious. This time I tried the Sandabs dinner and was disappointed in how bland the sandabs tasted. My husband ordered the Chicken Parmesan with pasta and it was delicious. We were sitting up front in front of the windows and near the front door and we should have asked for the door to be closed if possible as it got quite cold. Except for my sandabs and getting quite cold (even a server was wearing a coat), I would have given 5-stars.

    Wonderful evening….so nice to enjoy it all, the food was excellent, the scallops were light delicate and tasty, just wish we had more than 4. We paired with the carbonara, which was very nice. They added mushrooms which actually was a nice not strong addition. The ambience was lovely, relaxing and the noise levels were low, we could actually have a quiet conversation. Strolling guitar was a nice touch too
