We have one major focus: the popular German street food - schnitzel. We also have wursts made by local German meat market legend, Binkert's (Rosedale, MD). Other partnerships include a Black Forest Ice Cream Sandwich by Scoop & Paddle (Clarksville, MD).We use fresh meats and vegetables, never frozen. The pretzels are made by hand by an Army vet who learned to make pretzels in Germany after his service. The sauces are made from scratch. Our cocktail program features both popular and obscure German spirits. The wine program consists of small-production family-owned wineries in Germany and Austria. Beer offerings include a healthy diet of imported German beers and local breweries who make German-style brews. The overall experience was great. The restaurant had a nice atmosphere and is by the water. The server was attentive and personable. She had good menu knowledge and offered recommendations. The food was tasty and well presented. Food service was timely and competitively priced. I only have one suggestion on the food. I would upgrade the quality of the ribeye. The steak was by no means bad but I would have preferred a better quality steak.

The pasta was amazing My girlfriend ordered the spicy rigatoni vodka pasta I ordered the pappardelle zafferano Both were 10/10!! Only thing that wasn’t good was the fried calamari it wasn’t good at all was disappointed in that Service was great waiter was amazing

We had a delicious meal. I enjoyed my filet mignon and creme brulee dessert. Our server (Josh) and his trainee (Camille) were wonderful. With the ambience of the historic home, delicious food, and kind staff we will definitely be back.
