Rosine's Restaurant turns traditional American comfort food into an art form. This local family-owned and operated casual dining restaurant has been open for 43+ years. The Culcasi family, owners of Rosine's, have received a bit of national fame as it has appeared on Guy Fieri's show "Diners, Drive-ins and Dives". Rosine's offers indoor and outdoor (pet friendly) dining serving breakfast, lunch, dinner and weekend brunch, beer wine and signature craft cocktails.     Such a great restaurant. We were there early (long story), but were seated anyway. Monterey had just experienced a huge rainstorm and power outage (although Fisherman's Wharf seems to have gotten its power back sooner than the neighboring area). The servers and staff were unbothered and waitstaff was prompt, cordial, and friendly. Plus the food was great! you can't go wrong with seafood in Monterey. But this was a notch up.

    We were somewhat high maintenance due to some miscommunication on our end about party size. The staff was over the top in their efforts to accommodate us on such a busy night. Our server had a great sense of humor, the floor manager and host both and all the staff took wonderful care of us. The food was phenomenal. Arancini, salads, sides and entrees cooked to perfection despite our changing circumstances. We cannot thank them enough. A memorial evening for sure.

    Great dinner and really good service. Our waitress gave great suggestions while not being overbearing. Food was very good. Next time we need to try to save room for the amazing looking desserts.

    Jack's has a beautiful setting, service was excellent and the food was delicious! Very reasonably priced, as well.
