Kai Mayfair’s cuisine has its foundation in Nanyang Chinese cooking, the region located within the South Seas of China. It takes a ‘Liberated’ approach to Chinese cooking, respectful of the flavours from its Chinese heritage but not bound by it, offering a menu primarily of specialities unique to Kai. Desserts also feature as a key part of its meal experience utilising ingredients synonymous with the Nanyang region like pandan and durian. Meaning ‘granddaughter’ in Italian, Nipotina’s menu will blend the duo’s cultural traditions to create nostalgic dishes with family at the core, all made with simple, seasonal produce along with a good dose of Italian soul. Scott’s is what you should expect, excellent service, high quality food. Expensive but that is fine when they deliver a high end dining experience. Would go back to Scott’s again.
