Honoring classic French cuisine, Mon Ami Gabi is a traditional French bistro located in the heart of Lincoln Park. Inspired by the market, Chef César Murillo utilizes exceptional ingredients at the height of their season. His tasting menu reflects the Arts & Crafts approach of the dining room - complex layers of subtle craft beneath a simple decorative style. We offer a four-course tasting menu with optional wine pairings. The menu is not á la carte, however, it provides options for each of the courses. North Pond is open for dinner Thursday through Sunday beginning at 5:30pm. Sunday Brunch begins at 10:30am and is three-course prix fixe. We do not offer valet parking.Tables in the front room or patio, overlooking the pond, are seated first come, first serve. We do not hold tables. All tables for more than 4 people are seated in our main dining room. We accept reservations for a maximum of 8 people at one table.A cancellation charge of $25 per person is applied to all same day cancellations.

Riccardo started his career at a very young age in Milan's prestigious "GIRARROSTO" family owned. Then, in 1982 he moved to the United States and he opened the famous Sonny Bono's in Los Angeles. In 1987 he started to work with his cousin Roberto Ruggeri, with him he opened Bice New York, Los Angeles and many others around the world. Together with his wife (and sous chef), Veronica, and his cousin (and hostess), Barbara, he decided to continue his gastronomic artistry and creativity in his restaurant named after himself "Riccardo Trattoria."Here through the craftsmanship of an Italian food connoisseur, dishes are prepared with an almost zen-like essentiality that has shaped Riccardo's professional and existential life course. Some highlights of the menu are Veal Chop Milanese, Veal Shank Osso Bucco, Pappardelle with Short Rib Ragu, various classic Rissotto preparations, and for dessert options like Panna Cotta, Homemade Tiramisu and Tuscan Ricotta Cheesecake round out the menu.

The first Lettuce Entertain You restaurant, Grunts still exudes the funky, devil-may-care lifestyle of the 70s in its style, décor, music, and menu. Happily for all of us, the best eating of that day continues to be some of the best today. While there's a huge menu that's as much fun to eat your way through as it is to read, many of Grunts' old favorites spark return visits. The burgers are arguably the best in town.     We were seated quickly as we had reservations. Farther from the beautiful tree, but we could see some of it. Our meals were delicious! We had the Lobster Biisque soup, Cranberry Citrus Chicken Salad Croissant, and Lobster Ravoli. Everything was scrumptious! Our server, Yolanda, was very attentive. Offered a few selections and brought us drinks. Online reservations were a bit challenging as time slots only opened up the day before our scheduled arrival. Overall, our experience at The Walnut Room was delightful!

    Our waiter, Seth, was top-notch. He made the dinner experience THAT much better. Food was incredible, don’t get me wrong, but a really good waiter is hard to come by.

    A perfect celebration with special people. The new prefixe menu was excellent and the service and pace of service was exceptional. Friendly, well orchestrated, eye on the details experience. Loved it!

    You need to give this new restaurant in Lincoln Park a try! Chef Gonzalez has been inspired by Oaxaca's classic flavors to craft contemporary dishes that were a culinary delight! Very modest but well-selected wine menu to pair with the amazing food. For the quality of food, attentive service and active but not crazy noisy ambiance, the experience is an incredible deal. Hope Ceiba enjoys years of success in Lincoln Park. Go try it out!!
