At the Nag’s Head we are passionate about food and the excellent quality produce that is available locally. The majority of our food is freshly prepared and cooked from ‘farm to fork’ by our Head Chef Andy Millard and his enthusiastic kitchen team.     Exceeded expectations! Saw mixed reviews so was a little apprehensive but the experience today was amazing. Had a lovely greeting from Hershey on arrival. She asked if we had been before and as we hadn’t, she explained the seating arrangements etc to us. Hershey gave great attentive service without being intrusive. Menu choices were great with some lovely specials. Taste, quality and presentation of food was outstanding. Could have done with a finger bowl to go with the braised rabbit. I’m looking forward to going back!! 😁

    Wow!! Blown away by this family friendly contemporary restaurant! We ordered 5 small plates and 2 main meals. The flavours were fresh and incredible and seemed to have been matched in heaven! The presentation of the food was top class and when the flavours match the quality of the presentation… wow! Just wow! The relaxed ambience, excellent service and attention to detail really shine through. We had to have dessert and this too was also out of this world! Try something with the pistachio soft serve ice cream and just wait to experience something new! To top it all off when you pay you don’t feel like you’ve been ripped off! Quite the opposite actually. This is a hidden gem that I don’t think is going to stay hidden for very long!

    This is the most beautiful pub I’ve been to. It’s so cosy and welcoming. The staff are lovely and friendly. The food is amazing. We happened to fall upon this pub on the way to find a waterfall and I’m so pleased we did. Highly recommended
