The Dysart Petersham has recently undergone a complete interior refurbishment, bringing back to life as many of the original Arts and Crafts elements of the building as possible to set a stylish and comfortable atmosphere.Our menus change with the seasons as well as always holding a few of our signature dishes, freshly cooked to order by our Head Chef and his team, emphasising freshness, well balanced flavours, ethical sourcing and country values. We have a garden and a forager who provide local Petersham grown produce to our chef.

Petersham Nurseries is a lifestyle destination that includes a plant nursery, an elegant greenhouse restaurant offering set menus for all diners, a shop selling exquisite antiques, homewares and gifts and a teahouse offering wholesome seasonal dishes and homemade cakes. It is a place of calm, away from the bustle of London, that respects and is in tune with nature and positive living. The Boglione family, who own the nurseries and live in the adjoining Petersham House are rooted to their blend of British and Italian culture which remains at the heart of the business and is reflected in the style of the food that is served. Petersham Nurseries Café is inspired by what is growing in our kitchen garden and by the produce supplied to us by our sister company, Haye Farm. Whilst maintaining their passion for simplicity, flora, fauna and responsibly sourced produce they have created an unparalleled setting just outside of central London.

Your table will be booked for 2 hours.This is an Afternoon Tea that departs from the traditional, engaging with new ideas to present an entirely different experience.Join us for a true reflection of the traditional tastes of Winter, now available on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.Served with loose-leaf teas at £60pp, and with Sparking Wine at £70. Our children's menu (up to age 11) is at £25 with a glass of lemonade. We are unable to make any other amends to our menu based on particular tastes and preferences that do not fall into one of the below dietary options.Vegetarians, Vegans, Pescetarian, Gluten free and Children's menu. Please advise in advance of any dietary requirements or children's menus required when booking.     Food is fantastic. Probably closer to 2 Michelin Star than it is to no stars. Quiet dining room, but nice warm cosy fire, and very friendly front of house. Set Menu also fantastic value, considering the quality and tase of the food, and the effort that goes into it.

    Absolutely wonderful as always, the food was brilliant and everyone who served us was lovely. They also put a candle in my husbands dessert for his birthday, which I really appreciated. However, they absolutely need to do something about the toilets. In the middle of a cold, wet, winters evening it’s really unpleasant needing to go outside into the mud to go to the toilet in a shed in the garden centre. Not really appropriate for a £100 a head dining experience. The only dark spot on an otherwise lovely evening.

    I had a very relaxing time. The food was unique and different from afternoon tea in other hotels. I really liked the scones here. They were crispy, small, easy to eat and the jam was delicious. I was also happy that they provided high chairs for my baby. The atmosphere is casual, perfect for visiting with my kids. It was full when I visited. Everyone enjoyed chatting so I didn't have to worry if my kids were a bit loud.
