My wife and I had brunch at Bacanora, and it was everything we hoped for and more. From the moment we walked in, the service was warm, attentive, and genuine. The food? Simply outstanding. My wife enjoyed a hearty machaca burrito, packed with savory, slow-cooked goodness. I had their birria dish, served stew-style—rich, tender, and exploding with deep, comforting flavors. We paired it with a refreshing Mexican Coke, the perfect complement to such a bold meal. Every bite reflected the passion and care that goes into Bacanora’s kitchen—authentic, vibrant, and unforgettable. We love coming back whenever we can get a reservation, and Bacanora always delivers. We left happy, satisfied, and already planning our next visit. Highly recommend!

We were taken early for our reservation. Sat with a nice view of the kitchen in the dining room. I always get the banana old fashioned. Drinks came out quick and on point. Started with the charcuterie. Always a winner here! My wife ordered the filet with mashed potatoes, I got the duck bolognese pasta and both were heavenly. Also ordered broccolini that were perfectly cooked. We finished the meal with the chocolate tiramisu. Also amazing I always have a great time and have great food and service here. The banana old fashioned is by far my favorite thing here, but it’s on the dessert menu but, if you know you know

We have been here 4 times. It was valentines so may be the reason it seemed very loud this time. I had the scallops which for $42 for 4 of these little guys seemed pricey. They were very good but served over a bed of corn on top of rice which is cheap food, so I thought maybe 6 scallops would be more fair. The burger was very good and the fish tacos were good too. I usually order the Walleye fish and chips which is always delicious. It’s the best entree on the menu. Our waitress Lexi, was superb. She made our evening delightful with her awesome personality and service. We’ll be back and I am hoping the noise level goes way down since it’s really hard to find places to enjoy a dinner out and have conversations with who you’re dining with.

General consensus from the party were outstanding. Appetizers were next level which included the bone marrow, bluefin tartare and the king crab stuff oysters. It really set the tone for the rest of the mains. Service was great from the staff and kept the tables clear and drinks full. The only exception to the meal was some of the mains. Over cooked and undercooked steaks that appeared to have been sitting for some time. Coming from a place where we have world class steak, the inconstancy we experienced was disappointing given the prices charged and what precluded this portion of the meal which many raves about. Overall pleasure and happy to recommend.

It was amazing. Second time going, and it was just as good as the first time. The food was good drinks music, and our waitress was on point all the time.
