Insalata's Restaurant is moving into it's 28th year of the community minded restaurants in San Anselmo. Insalata's receives Bib Gourmand from Michelin for it's 15th year in a row. Our goal at Insalata's has always been to bring luscious Mediterranean food, gracious service and a warm atmosphere to our diners. For over 28 years we have shared this experience of intimate dining and joyful celebrations in a variety of ways. Wonderful menu , from appetizers to main courses to desserts , you can't beat anything on it.. we have always enjoyed eating here. Service is exceptional , not intrusive but very attentive. this restaurant is a Gem in San Anselmo .

First impression: restaurant is BEAUTIFUL. Will definitely return for dinner to see the chandeliers sparkle, and during the summer to sit outside. Let's just say, I'll be back. 3 of us shared the shrimp appetizer (perfectly cooked & seasoned), and the fries, one had a burger, a gem salad and Lobster Roll. Delicious. Don't skimp on dessert! We shared the chocolate chip cookies and the butterscotch crème brûlée.

The dinner was lovely and the servers were very attentive. Wine list is perfect, mostly Spanish and French options with some American picks incorporated. Dishes my party had were the 3 option charcuterie, french onion soup, and moules marinières. Would definitely go back to try their brunch menu as well! Thank you for a great night!
