Excellent dining experience! Top notch service all around. Will do again.

We heard about this restaurant in The NY Times article about the top 50 restaurants in the US. It did not disappoint. We shared 5 small plates and the food was imaginative and so flavorful. Nice size portions and we took some home. Our waitress Sara was great - very attentive and gave us some good ideas for soaking in Pagosa. It was quite chilly in the room which was a bit disconcerting. But we would comeback in a heartbeat!

The steak was excellent. The side dishes are underwhelming.

Our server,Peter was excellent, very attentive and made good recommendations. I had the crispy shrimp and calamari and my husband had the seared scallops. Our entrees were smoked duck breast and a filet with mushrooms for him. Unfortunately we had a touch of altitude sickness so we ended up taking some of it to go. The lighting and music were perfect. We would highly recommend as everything is chef imagined with perfect companions and plating. On a happier note we had an amazing breakfast the next morning of all of the above. The service and food make this a worthwhile choice.

Amazing meal and service!!! My husband had the steak and I had the trout special. Both were perfectly cooked.
