The Metropolitan Grill. The moment you step into the Metropolitan Grill, you know you have entered a classic steakhouse. Guests enter through tall mahogany doors to be greeted by tuxedo clad Maitre D’s. Cuts of beef are showcased in a glass display in the front entryway. Framed photographs of celebrities, sports heroes and local politicians, all frequent visitors to The Met, line the walls. At the Metropolitan Grill, the focus is on the Prime beef, American and Japanese Wagyu. Steaks are seared over the high heat of the “Iron Wood of the World,” imported mesquite charcoal, ensuring the most tender, juicy steaks available. Metropolitan Grill Chefs personally select each cut that is served to guests. The Metropolitan Grill’s award-winning wine list showcases the definitive steakhouse selection of premium West Coast red wines, with special emphasis on Cabernets, Merlots and Meritage.

The new All Water Seafood & Oyster Bar, which is located on the site of what was a tackle & bait shop in 1936, draws inspiration from the materials and tools once sold there. It celebrates Seattle's maritime industry, from the portraits of fishermen and articulated shelves to the fresh seafood highlighting the best of the Pacific Northwest.     Wonderful atmosphere. Superior, impeccable, professional service. Number one choice for steak dinner in Seattle. The mandatory 20 percent service charge, which goes entirely to management and not the server, has a chilling effect on the overall experience and makes calculating the gratuity the server deserves more difficult.

    Great tasting food and service! We had both 6-course tasting menu and a la carte, the taste, flavor and presentation were just excellent and service was very attentive, friendly and thoughtful. Definitely deserve high 5 stars!

    Nirmal’s offered a great overall experience. The aesthetic is modern and warm. The waiters were very attentive. We ordered a Kolkata 75 which was delicious. We started with the lamb seekh kabob and tandoori chicken. Both were deliciously, so well flavored, and tender. We ordered some to go! We also ordered roti, crispy garlic naan. Paneer Makhan and chicken patiala and Rogan Josh. Everything was amazing. Will definitely visit again.

    A must go! The food was delicious. My wife and I shared several small plates which were appropriately timed so that each arrived fresh. The service was excellent t and I 100% recommend the Cuban old-fashioned.
