According to the Mercury News (2007), "The menu in the main restaurant is equally eclectic (compared to its wine lounge), with unusual dishes such as pumpkin borani, which features spicy peppers and garlic, and aushak, pasta filled with leek and cilantro and topped with garlic-yogurt sauce and sautéed ground beef, and simpler starters and entrees such as grilled salmon and beef, shrimp, lamb, and chicken kabobs.     As always the food was terrific and the service was outstanding. My colleague tried the pizza as neither of us had had tried their pizza and the flavors were amazing

    De La Torre's never fails to offer and serve a Wonderful Lunch or Dinner at an Excellent Value! Everything on the Menu is worth trying but the Daily Specials just put De La Torre's a cut above. Pleasanton is home to De La Torre's but it truly is the Local Gem of the Tri-Valley!

    We come here all the time because the food is delicious and authentic Italian, and the cocktails are amazing. The service is always great! We love Angel. The manager also checked on us once. Always pleasant.

    The service was outstanding. We had reservations and just waited a short while to be seated. Once seated and throughout our meal, our server was attentive and pleasant. The cocktails were very good. A couple people ordered the lamb chops and loved them. Others ordered the frenched ribeye and it was cooked as ordered. I had the blackened salmon which was a tad salty. The evening was lovely despite the extreme noise level. We were in the main front room and it was so loud in there, it was difficult to have a conversation without straining to hear. That was probably the downside of our evening. The restaurant is beautiful and there are several Instagram photo spots. If we dine here again, we’ll come earlier when it’s not as crowded. Our reservation was at 7:30 pm on a Friday evening which is probably prime time.
