Do you love Italian food? A world famous restaurant executive chef says it all by saying, “the best meals in California are at Carmel Bistro Giovanni!” An artful, romantic setting with an international wine list and amazing cocktails. Try some of our specialties: the "Mamma Mia" features mouth-watering meatballs with pasta and southern Mediterranean-spiced sauce, Veal Osso Bucco, Lamb Shank, steaks, and a plethora of seafood including halibut, salmon and sand dabs! Dametra Cafe is a casual Mediterranean restaurant. Here, diners can expect high-quality healthy food delivered quickly in a relaxed atmosphere. The decor and styling of the dining room is distinctly Greek, specifically like one of the many coastal cities that the country is known for.     Anton & Michel’s is one of the best restaurants in Carmel! The ambience, the food and the service was outstanding! We celebrated our 35th anniversary at the restaurant and they made it very special from wishing us a happy anniversary when we walked in the door to the wonderful dessert we had at the end of the meal! We recommend this restaurant to all for special occasions or when you want a great meal with great service!

    My husband and I shared the porterhouse and our granddaughter got the wagu. They both were delicious!! The sides that came with the porterhouse were incredibly yummy (crispy potatoes and an Italian broccoli) We started the the garlic bread - which set a VERY High bar for the next course. I’m dreaming about the garlic bread - PHENOMENAL! Our server, Jane, was knowledgeable, kind and very attentive.

    Great bartender/cocktails with creativity. Treated super well by server and GM who presented a complimentary bottle of champagne to celebrate a very special occasion! Meals were wonderful from the soup to sandwiches to eggs benedict to dessert! All amazing and let me say the price is SO WORTH IT! You would pay the same for ordinary restaurants and this one is EXTRAORDINARY! Enjoy.
