Hamrock's Restaurant is located within the Moore-McCandlish House (built 1842) in the heart of historic Fairfax City. We've been proud to serve delicious made-to-order American dishes using fresh ingredients since our establishment in 2016. We also have a wonderful hand-selected wine list to enhance your dining experience. Approximately eighty-percent of our menu is-- or can be-- gluten-free, as we use only canola and olive oil in all of our cooking. Some of our best-selling dishes are our southern fried chicken, grilled meatloaf, and crab cakes-- all which are gluten free! Other menu favorites include our deviled eggs, firecracker shrimp, Atlantic grilled salmon, roasted pork tenderloin, and penne pasta with andouille sausage & shrimp. We have beautiful year-round outdoor seating options on our wrap around porch (we have heaters!) In the warmer months, we also open our courtyard. Service is very nice - friendly and welcoming from start to finish. Our meals were great - excellent. Flavors melded perfectly. So good. A nice calming atmosphere where you can relax and be taken care of.

Trummer’s is absolutely amazing! I reserved a table for my bridal party as a thank you to them for going through the wedding season with me. The server who assisted us, Jojo, was a delight to be around and made our lunch so much more fun. I ordered the bbq bone marrow, the cioppino, and we caught their signature cocktail, The Titanic, on sale for $8! A beautiful restaurant, beautiful staff, and a lovely time all around.
