Gusto Ristorante is a Northern Italian restaurant with a touch of the South at the Sea Turtle Marketplace in Hilton Head Island.The executive chef and owner Giancarlo Balestra with his wife Nancy bring the vibrant flavors of his native hometown of Rome, Italy to Hilton Head. The couple who met in Rome 28 years ago discovered their shared passion for food and adventure and have since owned and operated restaurants in Aspen, Co, Winter Park, Fla and Saratoga Springs, NY. They fell in love with Hilton Head and decided to jump into this new exciting culinary adventure, hence the name Gusto, which means flavor and taste in Italian but also means a zest and enthusiasm for a delicious taste of life. We have come to Hilton Head the week of Thanksgiving the past 22 years. We have always shared our Thanksgiving dinner at Frankie Bones. The food is great, service exceptional and reasonably priced. We have enjoyed our years of Thanksgiving at Frankie Bones

It was a great dinner as always for Thanksgiving with friends. Only complaints - kept asking the server for more water, and she finally gave me more the 3rd time. Also, when the guy brought our desserts he wouldn’t take our main course plates. There was no room for all of this at our table so we put them at another table. Eventually someone came to get them. We told our server, and she didn’t seem to care.

My family of six had dinner for my Moms 75th Birthday at WiseGuys for the first time. I have to say the service and ambiance were both perfect, but the food was the winner. From the drinks, to the apps, to the main course, we were blown away. Not to mention the desert as well. Portions are huge and perfectly prepared. I would come back time and time again.

Excellent food! Classic Italian and absolutely perfect in every way. Smaller restaurant, loud when full which it was. Took a little to get our check, but it felt like they didn't want to disturb us not that we were ignored..and they were very busy. Def coming back next visit.
