Arden delivers seasonal Pacific Northwest cuisine and an award-winning wine program featuring over 250 bottles, many with bottle age. James Beard-nominated, Chef's Prix Fixe Tasting Experience by Executive Chef Jose Camarena, recontextualizes Mexican cuisine and culture through Storytelling. We exclusively offer a prix fixe tasting menu experience, with 7-Course and a 10-Course options. Both experiences are meant to honor the complex history that created each dish, as well as leave a lasting impact on all those who taste this beautiful food and listen to our stories. República is a tasting menu-only restaurant. We offer a 7-course menu at $128 or a 10-course menu at $150 per person. We kindly require all guests to disclose all dietary restrictions and allergies prior to their reservation. We are unable to accommodate allergies to nightshades, chile, allium, rice . Walk-in's always welcome! Screen Door is a restaurant that presents itself as a love letter to the American South and the revival of regional cooking. Each day, the restaurant receives natural, local organic meats and produce from nearby vendors. The inclusion of regional Pacific Northwest ingredients into a menu of dishes developed in the south has created a unique flavor profile in Screen Door's menu. Many of Screen Doors dishes draw their inspiration from Louisiana and the Cajun cooking that's found there. These include our world-famous fried chicken, Lowcountry shrimp and grits, smoked andouille chicken gumbo and fried okra. Other items, like the house-smoked beef brisket and braised pork shoulder, come straight from the state of Texas. The rest of the South is well represented as well with a Carolina pulled pork sandwich, chicken and waffles, crispy fried oysters and a pimiento cheese & sausage biscuit sandwich with a fried egg and cheddar grits.

    My wife and I shared an absolutley amazing experience here for our 24th anniversary. We went with the ten course tasting with paired drinks. Every bite was artfully prepared blending presentation, flavor, texture, smell, and pacing into a remarkable experience. The history and story presented along with each serving was as delightful as it was informational. The drinks were well selected and the additional cocktail we picked up was the best we have had! If you have the time (2.5 hours) and budget, you will get an amazing experience.

    this is our favorite Portland restaurant. The very best. Food is always amazing and the staff is wonderful. Friendly, while being completely professional , knowledgeable, about the food and wine and very helpful. Couldn’t recommend it more.

    Stellar! 100% hands down best experience this year. Maybe ever. John was fabulous, food outstanding, signature cocktails on point, and wine top shelf. Oh and then there was the the dessert. really no words for how outstanding this experience was. Thank you for making our Christmas Eve so memorable.
