Hospitality Heavyweight Scott Imlach has teamed up with Head Chef Sam Sheehan to bring a modern take on classic Asian street food to the Gold Coast. Etsu is a Japanese izakaya which focuses on local amazing produce in our dishes which are designed to be shared amongst friends. We have one of the largest Japanese whisky collections on our back bar which we recommend served over hand cut ice or try one of our sakes or Japanese tap beers. Our sashimi is the freshest around and our fave place to sit is at the dining bar. Kanpaii!!

    We went to celebrate a birthday and were not disappointed. We originally booked a table outside but were given an inside booth- but was a good size booth and we were happy! Took a while to get our servers attention as she was really busy- but once she took our order, we had nothing but a great night! From the surprise birthday cocktail to the delicious food that just kept coming and the mix of tunes playing. Overall everyone had a great night and the birthday girl was very happy and keen to go back again!

    second experience in a week at outback recent review was critical of service but tonights experience was the exceptional meal service and value that we are used to having at outback pacific fair thank you for a great evening highly highly recommend great for all ages be aure to come hungry

    The food was gorgeously presented and it was just as delicious as it looked! The 2 hosts we had really looked after our table and very warm and welcoming. Definitely recommend for any occasions, great if you’re dining in big numbers too👍
