Pisces Rising is a celebration of Florida cuisine located in beautiful Mount Dora. Established in 2003, the restaurant offers sweeping views of Lake Dora with multiple options for dining in the main dining room, semi-private, private, and outside areas of the establishment. Pisces Rising is a proud supporter of regional sustainability and utilizing fresh, local ingredients in culinary dishes first and foremost whenever possible. The scratch kitchen, referred to as the "Heart of the House", consists of a team of passionate Chefs who put their love and care into each dish. Locally owned and operated, The Back Room Steakhouse features aged Black Angus steaks including our boneless Rib eye, Porterhouse, New York Strip, and our Center Cut Filet.     Everyone at the restaurant was absolutely kind, and very helpful. We celebrated my finance birthday and our experience was great. My fiance wanted shrimp scampi to go with his steak, we spoke Lena and she was able to ask the chef to make it and he did. The waitress was great, her customer service was amazing!!!! We will definitely be back there! Thank you Lena and everyone for making our dinner a great experience!

    Our server, Austin D, was awesome! He was extremely knowledgeable with the menu, including libations. This was our first experience at Summer House on the Lake; it’s safe to say we’ll be back! They have a ton of gluten free options, and the sangria was some of the best I’ve had. Definitely worth checking out and returning :)

    We tried with some friends during Magical Dining. I understand it a reduced menu for a lower price but no sides at all with your entree, and to substitute a gluten free option of sorbet instead of the three options is a charge. The appetizers were good and our entrees were good. Our server, Jasmyn was excellent.
