JJ’s Restaurant is a Vancouver institution. Both the kitchen and front of house are run by students who are in their 2nd level of cook training. Enjoy a three-course a la carte lunch which is reasonably priced and produced with the highest level of passion and care by students with the guidance of their Chef Instructors.     Excellent service. Everything was thoughtfully made in house with their own unique touches. We had focaccia bread w lemon saffron butter, scallop w pumpkin puree plus fried mushrooms, meat filled ravioli, sable fish w seasonal vegetables, and pistachio tiramisu. My highlight was the flakey sable fish, soft n crispy focaccia and if you like pistachio gelato, you’d enjoy the tiramisu as much as I did! Thank you for the meal, Inn of the Bear : )

    We had the best Keg dining experience we have ever had at The Keg Dunsmuir. Fabulous service. It was my husband's birthday and he received a complimentary ice cream cake. We asked for a nice quiet corner and we got it. The ribs, and both steaks were cooked as requested. We did not feel rushed despite the almost full restaurant. Wine glass was topped up as needed. Receptionists were friendly and welcoming. We will definitely return next time we're in Vancouver (we are from Victoria, BC) Thank you!

    We had a great first dining experience at Acquafarina celebrating a special birthday. The food was amazing, service was impeccable and so quick! Our server, Kayla did an outstanding job of making us feel welcome, comfortable and answered all of our questions. Super friendly service and lovely ambiance (the live music performer was so great, the violin playing was beautiful). Would and will 100% recommend Acquafarina!
