The food is excellent. So are the cocktails. Service was slow tonight. But I’d still go back.

Great seafood with an excellent view of the city. Service was spot on by Shawn. For dessert, the sweet potatoes mount blanc was delicious and creative.

We truly loved the bourbon dinner experience. Very small minor critiques would be to serve the bourbon with the food so that you could pair them together. Maybe also a larger space so that the noise was not so loud. The tables were very crowded however it did make for getting to know your neighbors easy. Overall we would absolutely do this again and hope to do it again. Having the chef and all the people involved speak throughout the experience was cool. Please tell the cigar guy to stay for when the party is over as we wanted to buy five cigars but he was already gone. We love this space we love this idea these are simply things that would just make it over the top perfect. Servers did a good job serving from the left and clearing from the right but the utensil replacement was a little sloppy because the table was too packed. Servers were refilling water cups individually instead of filling the carafees with ice water that were already on the table. This is rather inefficient and resulted in no ice after the second/third course and beyond. The food was terrific overall but for a tasting dinner that had chef and sous chef gave pretty bleak descriptions of their creations overall. They could have done a lot better by explaining how great of a thing they just made but it seems like they didn't really know what to say when they got the microphone. We look forward to the next event. Overall it was a five-star experience and we had a terrific time enjoying the experience that you provided. We will be back.

The food and service were outstanding! Truly! It was a little hard to hear my friend talking across the table, though. There was a great energy in the restaurant, but I probably prefer a little bit quieter space for conversation. I’d still return for the food and service, but it wouldn’t be a spot I’d pick for serious catching up given the acoustics are a bit on the loud side.

We went to Firebirds for my wife’s birthday on a Wednesday night. Restaurant was about 1/3 full when we arrived and we were seated immediately. Our server, Joseph, was quickly to our table with drink menu and his recommendations. We chose non-alcoholic beverages and Joseph quickly fetched the drinks and took our appetizer order, Philly Cheesesteak Egg Rolls. Joseph brought the house bread and butter and allowed us time to chat and enjoy the bread. The appetizer came out and we gave our entree orders. Cilantro chicken for my wife and the Smoke Burger for me. The appetizer was larger than we expected and very tasty. The entrees were served and again very tasty. I am a French fry purist, I do not like them with any kind of coatings or gimmicks other than a light salting, hard to find these days. But, they were here at Firebirds, delicious and crispy. The burger was very good but not exceptional, but that could have been because I had already eaten the appetizer which nearly filled me up. The Cilantro Chicken got a very good rating from my wife who brought half of it home so she could eat the surprise Happy Birthday dessert that Joseph brought since he knew it was her birthday. Crème Brûlée cheesecake was excellent and presented tastefully. Overall, a great dinner and we will be very happy to return. Our server Joseph was exemplary, tending our drinks without being intrusive, friendly without being chummy, with just enough checking on our needs to make the meal very enjoyable. Noise level was fine in the rearward dining area but out at the bar area it seemed louder. When we left there was a wait for tables. Overall score 5 out of 5
