Experience the ambiance of the Victorian Old West as we serve you an array of eclectic culinary specialties.When preparing the Mahogany Grille menu, our award-winning staff gives special focus to farm-fresh recipes that represent new styles with old west flavors. We hand-cut our steaks in our butcher shop, carefully select our foods, and incorporate products by local growers when available creating a mosaic of tastes and textures. Brought to you by Chris & Michele Redding, the owners of Cuckoo's Chicken House & Waterin' Hole and The Animas City Theatre, The Roost opened June 12, 2018, offering affordable, casual dining in a fun, downtown location. Our seasonal menu offers a wide variety of appetizers, salads, sandwiches, and entrees, prepared by Chef Dave Cuntz, Colorado Restaurant Association's Chef of the Year 2021. Pair your meal with a glass of wine, craft beer or signature cocktail. Finish your meal with one of Nana Pat's Cookie Dough Brownies ala mode you'll be glad you saved room for dessert! Located in Downtown Durango, 1/2 a block for the historic Durango-Silverton Narrow Gauge railroad. A great place to dine after your train ride.
