Five prominent oaks that stood in a semi-circle on the front lawn gave the estate its original name: Five Oaks. The estate has operated as a dining establishment and bar since 1961.The Oaks has become best known for the glorious wedding ceremonies and receptions held exclusively on the property. We are also well known for our traditional Easter, Mother's Day and Thanksgiving Buffets.     Valentines dinner was perfect from the moment we walked in and were greeted by the very friendly host staff. Dinner started off with an excellent bottle of wine that Dalila was able to acquire. Our beef tenderloin filets from the chef's menu were outstanding and cooked perfectly! And the strawberry almond tiramisu was a delicious end to a great meal. But the best part of ANY meal there is always the exceptional service from Cassie! She's so genuinely cheerful and makes you feel welcomed every time!

    We had a nice birthday/Valentine’s day dinner! I had the cashew crusted chicken breasts with fresh green beans and a wonderful house salad, with dried cranberries, goat cheese and sliced almonds on a bed of mixed greens. It all was delicious! The green beans were cooked to perfection and the chicken was so tender! My husband had a seafood medley and our guests had walleye and a grilled chicken salad. We were all happy about the experience. Our waitress was great too!

    My husband and I have been dining at Ken Stewart’s restaurants for over 30 years. We’ve always dined on Valentine’s Day and a lot of days in between. Our experience tonight for Valentine’s Day at Ken Stewart’s Grille with Kristin as our Server was the best! She was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient! The food, as always, was outstanding!
