Serving up New American Tavern Cuisine in our two-floor full-service restaurant and bar, equipped with two 50-seat bars, world-inspired snacks and entrees, brick pizza oven, private event space, and an open rooftop patio that offers views of downtown Worcester and City Square. Located next to the DCU Center and minutes from Polar Park, we’re a natural choice pre and post-game.*Due to limited patio seating, we do not take reservations for our patio.     Always a great choice for excellent New England meals in an historic setting. Our server, Grace, was especially kind and gave us plenty of time to talk and enjoy our lunches. The Bakery is a must on the way out!

    I have been to Hemenway's in the past and this restaurant never ceases to be top notch. The Service (shoutout to Mia!) was fantastic and the food and atmosphere outstanding. I highly recommend Hemenway's. We were celebrating an anniversary and it was pretty cool that our table was sprinkled with rose petals and we were greeted numerous times with a hearty "Happy Anniversary! by a number of the wait staff and greeters(?). Absolutely one of my favorite restaurants anywhere!

    Clean, fun, upscale restraunt. Food was great, service was great, modern and cool inside. Can’t wait to go back! Brought kids 10 and 7 last time and they loved it!

    We were in town passing through Putnam and made lunch plans with my cousin who lives in the area that we hadn’t seen for a while. Found on Yelp and made a reservation. We were welcomed and seated quickly. We had great service and the food was delicious and good sized portions. We all had burgers, lol! The manager stopped by to say hello and see how things were going. All in all, a great choice!
