Not too many places can do as many things well as this particular eatery. If guests just need some premium meat to bring home to cook, the butcher shop has its own entrance at the side of the building where guests can peruse all kinds of cuts of beef, lamb, pork and various kinds of house made sausages and pate. Naturally, Laurelhurst Market's menu focuses on the many fine cuts of meat that are cut on-site as well as farm fresh produce. Appetizers include the Charcuterie Board that features house made cured meats and pates with seasonal mostarda and house pickles. The most popular entrées include the Ribeye and the Olympia Provisions Pork Chop!

Kachka features an award-winning menu of post-soviet inspired dishes including famous dishes such as the Herring under a fur coat, Rabbit in a clay pot, dumplings and much more. The restaurant is an homage to the dishes our chef/owner grew up eating. Kachka is open for indoor onsite dining. Walk-in lounge and bar seating are also available. Our Lavka grocery is open from 11am-9pm daily with counter service ordering from our Lavka cafe and deli available from 11-3. Seating is first come first serve on our upper patio or indoor lounge tables. Walk-in's always welcome! Screen Door is a restaurant that presents itself as a love letter to the American South and the revival of regional cooking. Each day, the restaurant receives natural, local organic meats and produce from nearby vendors. The inclusion of regional Pacific Northwest ingredients into a menu of dishes developed in the south has created a unique flavor profile in Screen Door's menu. Many of Screen Doors dishes draw their inspiration from Louisiana and the Cajun cooking that's found there. These include our world-famous Fried Chicken, Lowcountry shrimp and grits, smoked andouille chicken gumbo and fried okra. Other items, like the house-smoked beef brisket and braised pork shoulder, come straight from the state of Texas. The rest of the South is well represented as well with a Carolina pulled pork sandwich, chicken and waffles, crispy fried oysters and a pimiento cheese & sausage biscuit sandwich with a fried egg and cheddar grits.

    Nostrana is an outstanding restaurant. The dining room and bar are quite beautiful and nicely furnished with quality design elements. The service was fast, friendly and efficient. The food was delicious with generous portions. We shared the wonderful Insalata Nostrana with radicchio, Parmesan Cheese, Caesar dressing and rosemary & sage croutons. For our Primi course we had the Gigli Pasta which was delightful and our Secondo course was the Mushroom stuffed Idaho Trout with mashed potatoes and brussel sprouts. The trout was perfectly fried and deboned and, was topped by a generous dollop of black truffle butter which made it a very special dish. Nostrana is what a fine dining Italian Restaurant should aspire to. We’ll be back!

    The fried chicken is delicious and the whipped potatoes are very flavorful. Definitely an excellent place to eat and now that they take reservations, definitely on my hit parade.

    Portland City Grill offers an exceptional dining experience with incredible food. The sea bass was perfectly cooked, and the seafood trio was outstanding—flavors that truly impressed. However, our server, Troy, lacked warmth and came across as impersonal, which was a bit of a downer. Despite that, the overall experience, atmosphere, and quality of the food were fantastic. Highly recommend this restaurant for a special night out!
