Farmshop Marin is Jeff Cerciello’s second outpost which opened in 2013 in the heart of the Marin Country Mart in Larkspur. It follows in the footsteps of Farmshop Los Angeles, the acclaimed restaurant and artisan market that opened in the Brentwood Country Mart in 2010. Farmshop Marin features pristine California-centric ingredients and refined yet comforting dishes.The impressive 6,500 sq foot space features a comfortable and elegant dining room, outdoor patio, expansive full-bar area seating 50 people, lounge, private dining room seating 60, and an open-hearth wood-burning oven and grill. A gathering space for Marin locals & ferry commuters, the restaurant offers the impeccably-sourced, seasonal California fare Farmshop has come to be known for, with additional pizza, fish and meats fresh from the wood-burning oven and grill.     Such a lovely afternoon lunch. The salmon, avocado hummus, and the mint chip profiteroles were perfectly prepared and so flavorful. Service was top notch too. Thank you!

    I usually don’t review restaurants, however I feel the need to do so about Piatti. My Mom and I now dine regularly every Thursday night. We eat out a lot and have many choices. The reason we have made Piatti our special place is for several reasons. 1). Greeted by lovely hosts 2) Service is exemplary. Very well paced as we like to enjoy our cocktails before ordering. Our usual server is Luis, who goes above and beyond. However, if it’s not Luis, Vicky and the other staff are fantastic. 3) Great menu. We always find something we love and food is prepared as ordered. 4) Wonderful ambiance. We thought we’d only enjoy the beautiful water views during summer, but agreed tonight it was quite cozy for fall and winter. All in all, Piatti continues to check all the boxes for a weekly special night with my 96 year old mother. We look forward to coming back again next week!

    We had a wonderful time and ate great food and drank delightful cocktails !! What else could be desired from a dining out experience ?? The atmosphere/ ambiance is so enjoyable ! We LOVE the music and the decor and the views !! Staff are attentive and very amenable. The mixologists know their stuff and the food we had was delicious !! We relaxed , smiled and enjoyed every moment !! Oh and foot tapped and sang along to the excellent music !! Great vibe in this place !!
