2022 marks Ashten's 25th year of bringing locally sourced, creatively prepared food to guests. Owner, Ashley Van Camp, and award winning chef, Matthew Hannon, work with area farmers daily to procure the best that the Sandhills and North Carolina have to offer. Step into our elegant Dining Room or into the cozy atmosphere of The Pub for a farm-to-table experience. Private dining for groups of 6 to 22 is available on our lower level, as well as outdoor dining, weather permitting. Takeout is also available. Neighborhood French-inspired bistro featuring an ever-changing French-Fusion menu that keeps you coming back to try the things you didn’t have room for.Marianne’s organic garden helps supply Warren’s kitchen with his beloved fresh produce & both are actively involved in the local food movement. The ambiance is fusion as well - bistro style rather than “fine dining” - that is at once classic French and comfortable with an open kitchen so foodies can watch the work in progress. We are known for our unique dining experience serving various kinds of Tartare: Classic French, Argentinian, Parisa, Tuna, Salmon, Scallops & Avocado.     The seafood risotto was delicious! Our server, Kelli B made our experience at Villagio well worth the visit. She is very personable, knowledgeable about the food and wines served and was just a pleasure to have as our server.

    This isn't my first Ashtens review and it won't be my last. We are regulars who bring out of town guests here every opportunity we have. We also go with local friends and it's even our favorite date night place! Gracie was our server tonight. She is an exceptional server and is just the sweetest thing ever! We ate our usual - Ashtens salad, Verlasso Salmon, and Crispy Duck. Our food was prepared perfectly - something we never question when coming here. You guys never disappoint! Kudos Ashtens! We love your restaurant, the staff is warm and welcoming, and we'll see you again soon! Lori & Steve

    Had a great time for a casual birthday dinner with friends. Everyone enjoyed their meal and drink. We tried Beth’s Pink Drink, a specialty pink cocktail that had been available all of October with $1 from each being donated to breast cancer research. The drink was great and very fairly priced at $9. The restaurant was full but we were seated immediately, even though we were 15 min early for our reservation. Great time! We will be back.
