The Derby is more than a restaurant. Established in 1922, it has been family owned and operated since 1951. It is a grand museum showcasing some of horse racing’s greatest moments. Diners are invited to take a break from the rush of modern life and travel back to the time of George Woolf, Seabiscuit, and relive the excitement of “The Race of the Century”. We excel in offering the best meat and fresh seafood hand selected by our longtime executive chef that would delight even the most discriminating of taste. Some of the menu highlights include the Bacon Wrapped Filet, Delmonico New York, Prime Rib and Shrimp Scampi. We offer a wide selection of wines by the bottle and by the glass. Relax and enjoy a delicious meal in one of our iconic red leather booths, take in a beautiful evening on our terrace, or watch a sporting event in our bar and lounge.     We arrived at the restaurant on a very busy evening. We got there early but only had to wait a few minutes and were seated before our reservation time. The waiter we had was very attentive. The food was delicious. We shared a wedge salad that they split for us that was still a good sized portion. The main courses were so good and big portions, we all took doggie bags. It was my husbands Birthday and the waiter brought us a complimentary Baked Alaska which she lit at the table, nice presentation. I would recommend for a special occasion, they know how to do it right.

    What a beautiful restaurant and hotel! Our server, Rachel, was so sweet. The food was delicious! The restaurant didn't seem that busy, but it did take a bit longer than expected for the food to arrive. Otherwise, it was amazing! We will definitely go back!

    Loved our Christmas Eve Dinner at Benihana in Arcadia! There was an unexpected 30-minute wait for our table but it was all good, the place was packed and noisy and fun. I was surprised the meal and presentation seemed identical to what I remember from 20+ years ago - they have a game plan and they are sticking to it! Highly recommended!

    10 out of 10 experience. Highly recommend! We enjoyed an absolutely lovely setting on the terrace with attentive, friendly service. Delicious and beautifully prepared sandwiches and exquisite desserts! We enjoyed the upgraded Huntington Tea which included Prosecco, a lobster roll and a sumptuous little chocolate, cherry dessert. Everything came together beautifully for an absolutely lovely experience. We will definitely return.

    It was wonderful experience. It was easy to make reservation online, and the whole dining in experience was great. We had a big party of 18, but everything went well and the food at Craft by Smoke and Fire was awesome. We will definitely go back again.
