Seating is limited, a credit card is required & will only be charged for cancellations. Imagine... Tasting our wonderful Whites and our Big Red Oaked Age Wines. All our Reds are aged 2-6 years in new oak. You will be served by either Ross Jay Rankin the winemaker/owner or LynDee Rankin owner. We have been in business making aged wines for over 20 years. Our winery experience is unique and intimate and unlike any other. Ross is famous for his award winning gold and double gold medal wines and for his ability to regal you with his stories of life and winemaking.     Lovely tavern and ambiance. The food was absolutely awesome. The salmon was perfect and the salad was so fresh and dressed perfectly. Wine of course was smooth and local. Don’t miss this special historic place.

    Incredible service! So nice and helpful as this was our first visit. All of her recommendations were spot on. The artichoke didn’t stand a chance as our kids caught on the ended up devouring it. Our group had a pizza, pomegranate salad special, their pasta special with shaved truffles, and the sliders. Their craft cocktails are well done and her recommendation for an Italian white was money. No room for dessert. Must try if you’re passing through.

    We stoped in on a mini holiday vacation our experience at The Hitching Post was amazing. Our waitress Jennifer went above and beyond, handling our dietary needs with ease and attention to detail. Her cheerful personality in what was an extremely busy evening, the ambiance of the restaurant and AMAZING FOOD made for an extremely enjoyable Pre Christmas Eve dinner for us all. We can’t thank Jennifer enough, and are still talking about what a great night we had over all.

    Dinning here is always a good time, i like my steak medium chard and most places always fail ever so slightly but ever time time i dine here they cook it perfectly. Personally i find the tables to be a bit too close there fore your could overhear another parties conversation, i would as for a corner table next time to help with this. Other than that i would definitely recommend this restaurant for any occasion you want to remember.
