Our reservation was for 7:30 but the 4 of our 6 person party were stuck in horrible holiday traffic. When we told the hostess she was very understanding and did not have any issue with the fact that we would not be sitting down at our table at at 7:30. Our waiter was very chill. Loved that. It’s a big restaurant but I loved that we were seated in a room where the acoustics were not overwhelming and we could all talk to one another. Food was very good, but pricey.

Dining at La Grande Boucherie in New York was nothing short of a magical experience, made all the more memorable by the exceptional service provided by our waiter, Maria. From the moment we were seated, Maria brought an extraordinary blend of professionalism, warmth, and genuine charm to the table. Her attentiveness was impeccable, ensuring every detail of our evening was seamless, yet she carried it all with such an effortless grace that made us feel completely at ease. Maria's vibrant personality added a personal touch to the evening, making it feel less like a dinner and more like a celebration. She had the rare ability to anticipate our needs without being intrusive and engaged us with her infectious energy and lovely demeanor. What truly set her apart, though, was the thoughtfulness she demonstrated at the end of the evening. As a token of kindness and to mark our last night in New York, Maria surprised us with a small, heartfelt gift. It was an incredibly touching gesture that we will treasure for years to come. La Grande Boucherie’s enchanting ambiance and delicious cuisine were unforgettable on their own, but it was Maria’s exceptional service that elevated the entire experience. Celebrated my birthday here for the 2nd year in a row. Didn’t think that we would ever repeat last year’s dinner. But, last night was the best meal and service we have had in the city in a long time. Everyone from our waiter, manager and sommelier were fantastic. We will definitely not wait a year before we come back.

This was one of the best food experiences I have had in NYC! The restaurant is beautiful, the staff is WONDERFUL and the food was absolutely amazing! All three of us in my party had the three course pre theatre menu, which is an excellent deal. We had the fried calamari which was fresh and perfectly fried. For second course two had the salmon and felt it was delicious and perfectly prepared. I had the lobster pasta which was also delicious and had a nice amount of lobster. For the third course of dessert you can’t go wrong with the yogurt or walnut pie. We also ordered other items to share. The Milos special of zucchini and eggplant chips with tzatziki dip was fantastic and crave-worthy; the crab crake was all lump crab meat and outstanding - but there was only one. For drinks the Amalfi Cosmo was one of the best martini drinks I have ever had. Keep in mind great, fresh food and outstanding service are not cheap. In my opinion this restaurant was well worth it.

We’ve eaten at Carmine’s a few times now but we love eating there during this time of year. Carmine’s is the perfect spot for a festive holiday meal! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with beautiful decorations that set the holiday mood. The service is top-notch—attentive and friendly, making you feel right at home. Their family-style Italian dishes are absolutely delicious, with generous portions that are perfect for sharing. So, for being in the heart of NYC, it’s a decent value for our family. Whether it’s a holiday gathering or just a night out, Carmine’s delivers a memorable dining experience
