This local gem has been on our list to try for a long time. What a treat it was. We highly recommend the duck feast for a phenomenal tasting experience and value. The wine pairing is worth it, too. We'll be back.

Absolutely one of the best dining experiences that I’ve ever had in Washington DC! The quality of the food, the ambience, the temperature of the lighting, all of the small details that have been thought of to create a warm and cozy environment exquisite! Everything about Butterworth’s is wonderful and it should be the main dining establishment for the city!

We had a work holiday party for 10 people and everyone loved their food, service was great, and we could (mostly) hear each other across the tables. And it was a great value for DC.
