The Ivy restaurant has been a firm fixture on London’s dining and social scene since 1917. The restaurant and private room upstairs are the epitome of real glamour. A shimmering central dining bar in the restaurant draws admiring attention, and the signature harlequin stained-glass windows, oak panelling and striking contemporary art collection ensure the longevity of this very British of dining institutions. We couldn’t have asked for anything more - to have our first experience here on Christmas Eve really was wonderful - all of the team working were fantastic and they made our visit truly amazing and the food was unreal - we had caviar as a pre-starter to share, followed by the cheese soufflé and then the out of this world like butter melting in your mouth beef wellington

I would prefer the wine was left on the table rather than waiting to refresh our glasses. They should offer as an option rather than a default. Service was impeccable.

Such a happy and fun place to go. Very good service, food and drinks are lovely. It was my friends Birthday and they surprised her with a fun plate of desserts. Really recommend this place. Best worth booking in advance.
