We thoroughly enjoyed the meal and the music. It had been a while since we could eat at Shields and didn’t know what to expect. The experience exceeded what we anticipated. My husband loves the burgers and I go for the BBQ! Yum. Can be a bit noisy eating in the bar area on weekends, so we ask for the Garden Room. We do have a nut allergy which we let them know. Food was very good and they worked with our nut allergy to still provide a complete tea experience. The savory options were amazing and we loved the pumpkin scones. The sweets weren't as good as the savory options, but since they needed to replace multiple options due to our nut allergy, this was understandable. Our server, Nokia, was very sweet and helpful.
