Designed by Rockwell Group, TAO Downtown offers a distinct sense of arrival and discovery and is the first TAO venue where guests descend into a multi-level space. The subterranean restaurant, located in the heart of Chelsea, is intended to look and feel as if it has been there for decades and only unearthed recently to reveal the artifacts within. Zou Zou’s is a lively and modern Eastern Mediterranean restaurant from chef Juliana Latif, who spent years working at some of the most notable restaurants throughout New York City, including The NoMad.     Soon as you walk into this restaurant you feel the vibrant energy from all angles. Staff is extremely professional and ready to attend to you. Place is huge with a nice bar as you wait for your resy. Sat upstairs with a view overlooking down wow the food was world class. Tasted so fresh and so good. The drinks were on point and the overall experience with my date was five stars.

    Food was terrific! This restaurant has set the bar high for the rest of our trip and we’re just getting started. Plates are shareable and sized just right. The staff was friendly overall. I loved our waiter telling us he’ll give us a bit of time to enjoy the bread basket before placing our order so we don’t feel rushed. Everything fell in line just right. We got the break basket, havatini 2.0, crab fried rice, and the seasonal mango sorbet. This restaurant falls in my top five favorite restaurants. Will be back and recommend it to anybody who asks me for a NYC restaurant.

    First time at RH Rooftop for me and my friends. Chosen to celebrate my milestone birthday. We were all so impressed with the elegant ambiance, crystal chandeliers, superb waitstaff and service, delicious food prepared to perfection. And the best was a surprise birthday candle for dessert with a warm soft yummy chocolate chip cookie. We will definitely come back for another lovely experience.

    Food was outstanding!!! Every person must order the artichoke app. You will not be the same afterwards! Two of us ordered pasta- they made it gluten free and even that was top notch- there are some gf pastas that miss the mark, but theirs dud not. You’d never know!
