Welcome to The Elephant Restaurant The Elephant is a bright, informal restaurant which is situated near the beautiful Torbay harbour. It was the first restaurant in Torquay to be awarded a Michelin star which it maintains today. We aim to source all our ingredients locally and sustainably, many from our dedicated farm in Brixham. Run by chef proprietor, Simon Hulstone and his wife Katy. We had an excellent lunch with our wee one. Service was great and very accommodating to my food intolerance. Absolutely delicious sea food made to an incredible standard. Will definitely be back!

We were delighted to return to Restaurant 27 again today on a miserable cold January day. The food was as excellent as always- creative, beautifully presented and amazing value. Also the main course plate was nice and hot! It’s our new favourite restaurant in the South Hams- thank you Jamie, Charlotte and the team. Good luck for 2025. Jo and Louise R.
