Della Santina's Trattoria in Sonoma, San Francisco is a traditional Italian restaruant serving recipes mostly from Lucca, Italy. It was founded by Quirico (Dan) and Shirley Della Sanitina. With the passing of Shirley Della Santina - Quirico, his son Robert and wife Nicole continue to carry on the family business and Tuscan traditions. Quirico is the chef behind the menu and has provided what's been described as Italian comfort food in a gorgeously authentic Italian setting. When you walk in the front entrance you'll be greeted by truly Italian decorations and design, as well as fresh flowers on every table. Della Santina's offers a variety of home made pastas, antipasti, soups and salads, juicy rotisserie cooked meats and fresh seafood.     We had a lovely dinner. The food was delicious. The service was attentive but overly so. The ambiance was warm and not too noisy. All in all a really nice evening.

    We dined at Plaza bistro on Christmas Eve. For adults and one baby. It really was very lovely!  Beverages were served cold and food was served hot. Very very good. We’ll go again and again.

    The wife had the Crispy Panisse Cake, she it was delicious, along with the Heirloom Radishes which were fresh. I had the Wild Flounder Meunière which was grilled perfectly with the inside of the fillet very moist. Soup of the night, pepper purée was so creamy. The fig & arugula salad was so satisfyingly good. We are looking forward to the next time we go to Sonoma, because we are coming back to “the girl& the pig”.

    Wonderful experience...love this restaurant. The service, the food and the kind host who understood that my friend was having problems getting to the restaurant bc of traffic. My friend came and we visited for three hours. We only get to see each other once a year and we didn't realize how long we stayed. Daniel who took care of us told us to enjoy our lunch and said no worries about staying so long. I have been here many times and will continue. thank you
