The year was 1943, and Jim and Alice Wimmer decided to take a big risk, buying a small existing roadside restaurant known for its char-broiled steaks. Took family for a new year celebration. Everyone loved their meals. The brussel sprout appetizer was a Star! Dawn was a lovely server, kind and prompt, which was great for a holiday with a big party. A little pricey, $300 for apps, dinners and meals for five with no booze. But also quality ingredients and creative offerings!

Great place to eat. Fantastic fish fry on Fridays. Only complaint is hostess seated us next to a loud crowd of 12-14 people. Many booths and other tables away from large crowd were open. We asked to move away from crowd was no problem. Might be a reminder to your staff to consider this when seating customers next to large group’s.
