We’re a small and energetic restaurant on the corner of Adelaide and Water St. in the heart of downtown St. John’s. We carry a wide selection of East Coast Oysters and our menu focuses on seafood + fun, vibrant small plates. We have a rotating selection of local craft beer and wines and an ever evolving cocktail list. Some call us loud, but we prefer lively! Piatto is a gathering place centred around a passion for fine food, fabulous wines, friends and family. Check out the little gems we've come across—diverse wines from across the globe, authentic Neapolitan wood-fired pizza, coffee and fabulous desserts—all in a casual atmosphere and with reasonable prices. In our world, authenticity is big. Our pizzaiolo use ingredients and procedures regulated by the Italian governing association (VPN)—so you experience a "true" pizza like you would find in the energetic pizzerias in Naples, Italy (but without the airfare). We are happy to now be taking a limited amount of reservations online as well as always keeping a portion of the restaurant open for walk-ins. The service experience at the Keg is PHENOMENAL. It's evident they have worked on how they focus on their guest over the years. Food and drinks are top notch. Clean with the best ambiance. Sonny is an amazing server. We have had the pleasure of meeting Sonny twice. Such a vibrant energy he brings. Highly recommend.

The food and service were excellent. The restaurant has a great vibe and energy, and while the ambient music adds to the vibe, it is fairly loud. This may not be the place for those looking for quiet dinner conversation.
