A visit to our house is a unique way to relax and enjoy life's simple pleasures as well as our treasures from the sea. The word Bagatelle comes from the French and means "a trifle or a little nothing", often referring to a light, fun, yet not too serious spring time romance. The French brought their history of fine cuisine and their love of wine to the Caribbean Islands. It is in this tradition that we have combined our French heritage, southern hospitality and the indigenous tastes of the Florida Keys into the meals we prepare today. Our chefs blend the best of our locally caught fresh seafood, fresh produce and delicious tropical fruits for our tropical seafood dishes.

First Flight Island Restaurant and Brewery is located in the home of Pan Americans office, where the first American international flight ticket Key West- Havana, Cuba was bought on October 28th 1927.     We had a very pleasant meal at Bagatelle. Our salad took quite a while to come out, but our entrees were very timely. My husband ordered the swordfish, and I had the grouper special. The grouper was excellent, although I was surprised at the cost when the bill came. The swordfish was good, but a little on the dry side. Portion sizes were very generous. All in all, a very nice meal in a beautiful location.

    Always a great evening at The Grand. The owner swung by our table as soon as we were sat and even offered to bring us drinks - she was lovely. Food is outstanding (we love the beef carpaccio). And we really, really love how they value locals at The Grand. It keeps us coming back. Outstanding restaurant- if you haven’t been … go!

    We try to get to Cafe Marquesa every year during our visit to Key West-this year we were able to dine there TWICE! It was superb in every way, we were able to make reservations for both visits easily and get a time that was convenient for us. The menu options were fabulous and the service is impeccable. We have always felt welcomed by the staff, the dining room is lovely and comfortable. Truly a five star experience from start to finish with everyone in our party(s) leaving the restaurant with rave reviews about every aspect of the dining experience.

    Food was HOT and savory. My girlfriends choose to share entrees. The price for a split meal was absurd. No warning seen or noted by waiter. We hate to waist food and none of us finished our meals.
