Brilliant food but service was a bit hit & miss - ordered bread to share & it never came - then coffee with dessert - again never came ! You are missing sales !!! But food - Roast Beef was delicious

A recent favourable newspaper review of The Pig’s Nose prompted this visit and the hour long journey was worth it. Unassuming but with really lovely service, smashing food and great ambiance. How many traditional pubs serve soda bread with anchovy butter and delicious fried padron peppers? It is more than a traditional pub. It was busy as traditional pubs often are,but in a good way although I do wonder how it copes in the holiday season?

I had the most wonderful lunch at Gather with 3 friends. The service was friendly and attentive and the waitress described each dish clearly so we knew what delicacies presented to us we were about to devour. The presentation of the food was first class, the flavours and unique dishes were amazing and the little “free” extras such as freshly baked bread, macaroons and chocolates to finish were a perfect and much welcomed addition to a delicious excellent value meal. Highly recommended.

Great pub food done well. Really lovely staff, very friendly and easy going. We were there to see the bands on a Friday night, what a hoot. Great music, amazing ambience. A great night out. Fabulous to see a village pub so alive and well supported.

First time at the Millbrook for food. Excellent food, excellent service.
