Several years ago, I decided that my future in the restaurant business would most likely not remain in the realm of fine dining and gourmands, but would rather lean towards the style of restaurant that I found myself frequenting most often - places that provided consistency and quality at a price that was fair for the quality of the food and experience. Public House plays to the comforts of good, solid food, while applying the principles of premium food products to a more casual setting.     The menu has an option for every taste and the prices were reasonable. The food was great as well as the service. If you plan to catch a show at the Comedy Catch it’s right next door!

    I have to say that everything was great. The food was not only delicious but pleasing to the eye. I appreciated being given a menu so you knew what was coming up. The choice of dishes chosen by the chef were spot on! Our server could not have been more attentive. The only thing I can say in the negative (and it definitely not a complaint) is that the tables could have used a holiday touch. We loved our experience and if we’re lucky enough to come back to Chattanooga, dinner at the Forge will definitely be on our list!

    Delicious! The flavors were amazing. Loved the crab special with the most amazing sauce. Order the golden beets for a fresh and light side. The strip with chimichurri was fantastic as well. Highly recommend!
