Rosine's Restaurant turns traditional American comfort food into an art form. This local family-owned and operated casual dining restaurant has been open for 43+ years. The Culcasi family, owners of Rosine's, have received a bit of national fame as it has appeared on Guy Fieri's show "Diners, Drive-ins and Dives". Rosine's offers indoor and outdoor (pet friendly) dining serving breakfast, lunch, dinner and weekend brunch, beer wine and signature craft cocktails. Breakfast offers include Eggs Benedicts, Omelets and a variety of other breakfast specialities. As for lunch and dinner, there is a mix of American and Italian dishes.     My husband and I shared the porterhouse and our granddaughter got the wagu. They both were delicious!! The sides that came with the porterhouse were incredibly yummy (crispy potatoes and an Italian broccoli) We started the the garlic bread - which set a VERY High bar for the next course. I’m dreaming about the garlic bread - PHENOMENAL! Our server, Jane, was knowledgeable, kind and very attentive.

    We came here tonight because we wanted to have dinner and watch the Warriors game. We got the booth at the end and ordered our food and then we were told that since a bunch of the TVs are hooked together, they couldn’t change it from the college football game that somebody else asks to see before we did. Our server moved us to the back room, which was very sweet, but the TV was way too small to be able to see.. The food and service were all excellent . It would be great if they could figure out a way to separate the TVs so that guests could choose to change the channel and not be controlled by one set of guests.

    I had the special salmon with an orange and fennel sauce that was wonderful. The service and atmosphere were great. We’ll definitely return next time we visit Monterey.
