The Assembly House is a gorgeous Georgian gem perfectly located in the heart of Norwich. We set out to create the kind of establishment we'd love to find in one of the UK's most beautiful cities, one where old-fashioned hospitality is valued, food is delicious and where beautiful surroundings can be found hidden around every corner.From breakfast where we serve our unique Beforenoon Tea - the breakfast edition of afternoon tea - to lunch which includes Assembly House classics and grazing boards, we're open seven days a week. We're most famous for our themed afternoon teas which change regularly and are served from noon until last service at 3.30pm daily. As the Home of Afternoon Tea, we also serve some spectacular savoury versions of tea, including Beforenoon Tea, seafood option Afternoon Sea and our cheese-based option Afternoon Cheese. Please let us know your dietary adaptations for vegan, dairy-free, gluten-free or vegetarian teas at least 24 hours in advance.

Pho Norwich is a healthy Vietnamese restaurant with loads of vegan and gluten free options. We specialise in pho, the Vietnamese noodle soup, and also serve delicious curries, rice dishes, wok-fried noodles and healthy salads, too. We also have loads of starters that are perfect for sharing with friends and family. Over a third of our menu is vegan, and nearly all of it is gluten-free, so we are a great destination for people who follow those particular diets. We are accredited by Coeliac UK. The Belgian Monk opened in December 2000. The main objective was to create something different yet to fit in with the way drinking and dining is changing. It has become a successful and established bar and restaurant, offering customers a choice of a regular selection of some 45 beers together with a selection of special beers. The menu is based on serving only the best products available freshly prepared daily, at realistic prices, in an informal relaxed "friends and family" atmosphere. It provides more than just the meal or drink but a whole Belgian experience. Now owned and run by Wursty Four Biers Ltd the new owners hope to take this fantastic venue to new heights and enhance the service style and offer. Sincerely not to be missed!

    The three of us, a married couple (the wife celebrating her Birthday) and myself, were welcomed most warmly and led to the table I always request. My friends had never eaten at a Cote Brasserie before. They are connoisseurs of good food and wine - having celebrated a Birthday at Le Gavroche shortly before it closed. They were most impressed by Cote's extensive menu and wine list. They were genuinely enthusiastic about the quality of the dishes they chose - as they said, fine ingredients excellently cooked. The dessert for the wife celebrating her Birthday duly arrived with candle.... They commented on the service as very friendly and most efficient. They will certainly be dining at Cote again - it was altogether a very memorable and happy celebration - and Cote will continue to be my 'go to' place for entertaining friends.

    Our party enjoyed the Peter Pan afternoon tea. It was excellent!! One of the party is gluten and lactose intolerant and they were provided with a separate stand of food. Their items looked exactly like the other one. Service was efficient and the staff were extremely friendly. A beautiful setting.

    I always choose the seafood platter and organic whit wine, and have shared with lots of friends over the years it’s one of my favourite places to eat in Norwich. Lovely atmosphere, well spaced out tables, pleasant staff, and the platter is delicious. The fresh bread and beautifully dressed salad complete the fish selection.
