Pa’La means “for-the…” and it is forged in a passion to deliver food and wine that is inherently approachable and human to our community of people.     Everything was great. I didn't realize there was an 18% service charge because it was Christmas; I didn't recall seeing anything in Open Table when I booked the reservation. The folks at the table next to me weren't aware of the 18% service charge either. That didn't include gratuity (tip for the server)! Add that to over 20% tip and it's 40% added to the price of the dinner, which adds a lot. Makes for a surprise amount when you weren't aware!!

    Our server Miranda was great! My husband and I both had the holiday spiced pear old fashioned which was perfect. Our table of 3 had the pretzel bites - super yummy. Pretzels were soft and fresh and the fondue flavorful and creamy. Meatloaf, Prime rib french dip and Kobe burger, all delicious. Some people might say the service is a bit slow at times but I don’t like to be rushed through a dinner out so I liked the pace.

    Absolutely perfect. My boyfriend and I are visiting from California and I wanted to bring him somewhere memorable for his birthday…this place made the cut!! We love the ambiance of the sultry atmosphere but even greater than that was the thoughtful and expertly orchestrated plates. Our server was so wonderful also. She was extremely knowledgeable and offered amazing suggestions. Couldn’t be happier! Highly recommend!!

    They changed the menu and we didn’t like it as much as we used to. Also, the waiter made us wait so long to get a drink and was really just lackluster and flatlined. Not super friendly or attentive but he did take a dish off the bill that we didn’t care for that was quite bland.
