The ambiance here is always nice with beautiful decorations and an historic building. The service is also very good to excellent. However, the food, itself, left a little to be desired. None of it was bad and it was perfectly tasty and filling. I very much miss the old days of the Double Eagle brunches, though. Prior to COVID, the Sunday brunch buffets were legendary and something well worth the drive up from El Paso. Even after the buffets became more scarce, the brunch menu was still delicious and different than elsewhere. This last experience was not either of those. The selections were much more traditional and "ordinary" in my opinion. They lacked any major pizzazz. If you are in Mesilla, I definitely recommend a trip here, if only for the bar (still excellent) and to view the building. I do not necessarily think it is worth a trip for the sole purpose of the meal. BRING BACK the BUFFET!!!

I might as well get my own table here- I keep coming back! I keep coming back because the quality and taste of the food is always consistently good, the service is always great and the place is beautiful. Came to help a gal Pal celebrate her birthday in style. The perfect place!

Service was excellent. They were sampling the semillon, which was an unexpected and delicious surprise. It was crisp and flavorful. The acid was just right. I also ordered a custom flight to sample 4 other wines. They were all good. The semillon was my favorite. The Heritage Cabernet was very rich with strong blackberry and current flavors. The feta and hummus appetizer was very good. I liked that they added cucumber slices to the pita. We also enjoyed the pistachio pesto pasta with shrimp. The meatloaf was outstanding. Highly recommended! Especially good for a special occasion when you want to have good conversation with your companions.

A comfortable dinning area. Great service from the staff. Excellent food - we had rack of lamb.

We had a great dinner celebrating a couple of birthdays. Our server, Maliyah, was amazing! There were five in our group and we were well taken care of. The food was very good. We will definitely return!
