We had such a wonderful Monday night dinner. Tried lots of dishes but our personal favorites were the mussels and the braised short rib! Service was wonderful and attentive. It was a slow night but we still enjoyed the ambience and the restaurant is put together beautifully. Thanks so much, we will be back again!

Great food and wine menu. We really enjoyed ourselves and will definitely be back. It was very quiet when we were there but I can imagine it’s not always like that - likely due to the long weekend.

The Velvet consistently is the best place to dine in the Rossland/Trail area when you want to have a special evening. The menu is updated seasonally, and there is sufficient variety for us to try different items every visit. Although, it's pretty hard NOT to order the sablefish every time. We try to stop in at least once a month and are always warmly greeted by the staff. Great location too, and the views up the ski hill are spectacular. Highly recommended.
