Rumi's Kitchen first opened more than a decade ago in Atlanta, the result of years of development by Chef / Owner Ali Mesghali. Showcasing the flavors of Iran -- fresh herbs, kabobs cooked over an open-fire grill -- quickly won loyal guests at the original location in Sandy Springs, GA and set us on pace to open our first restaurant outside of Georgia in 2020. Rumi was a 13th-century Persian poet whose words and life teach us how to find inner peace, happiness and love.     Excellent Thanksgiving Menu. Great service!! Meatballs, Fried Turkey, and short ribs were fantastic. Pecan Pie was also fabulous.

    Incredible Thanksgiving day meal at founding farmers. I just returned to the states after 3 months in Europe and find the prices here a little higher than I was expecting. But I haven’t had food this good in a very long time. I made a reservation and was able to be seated 10 minutes early. As busy as the restaurant got, the service was prompt and friendly, the noise level was low, particularly surprising considering the number of people in the large dining space. My friend and I had mimosas along with the meal, and they were excellent as well. Plan to go back tomorrow and order something from the bar.

    We were able to sit out on the patio under 2 space heaters with our party of 10 (family from OOT) - it was great to hear each other and enjoy the wonderful food and service! The hummus (mushroom and lamb) and kebabs are amazing!

    Our brunch experience was delightful and Troy made it extra special. He was attentive, cheerful and very thoughtful during our dining experience. The food was delicious and such a great value. The ambiance was vibrant yet sophisticated. Will definitely be back.
