The Highlands Supper Club specializes in classic Southern comfort food with a contemporary point of view — from Carolina barbecue to crisp fried chicken and imaginative drinks — new spins on old fashioneds. Our specialty cocktails focus on bourbon, dark base spirits, smoky flavors and local ingredients, with an extensive wine list and local beers.Our historic Log Cabin was built by local legend, Joe Webb, and it's nestled into the lush woods of Highlands, North Carolina. The interior contains multiple fireplaces and offers guests both indoor and seasonal outdoor seating areas to choose from. There is also a private dining room available for a variety of occasions.

Sometimes the magic of sharing a table with friends over fabulous food and wonderful wine can be elevated by a place. Canyon Kitchen has that impact. Canyon Kitchen uses local produce and organic selections from our own community gardens and the surrounding area to source our creative Appalachian cuisine. Our multi-course menu is offered a la carte and will change regularly, sometime daily, and is enhanced by an extensive wine list and fresh, seasonal cocktails. A $40 corkage fee will be charged for bottles up to 750ml. We recommend that all parties arrive 30-45 minutes before their reservation to take in our beautiful meadow. Reservations are subject to a $25 per person credit card hold that will only be charged if you cancel within 24 hours of reservation. 20% service charge is added automatically to each check to be distributed amongst our front line staff.     We were there to celebrate our son’s 21st birthday! We had a wonderful evening with an amazing server and seeing the bartender we’ve come to know through the years. Our table was in front of the fireplace and couldn’t have been better as it was extremely cold outside. As always, the food & drinks were delicious! I had requested that a candle be on the chocolate cake slice at the end of our meal and if they could spell out HBD on the plate. The pastry chef apparently saw my request and made us 3 chocolate cupcakes with candles and the HBD written on the plate! Thank you team Oak for making this special day so memorable!

    This was our 3rd time dining here- the setting, service, and food were exceptional. We most enjoyed the charcuterie board as a starter- delicious cheeses, smoked trout, sopressa,etc. We both had steaks- cooked perfectly with the delicious center and just the right amount of outside flavorful crisp. Loved the romantic low light, beautiful decor, attentive service and 2 cocktails as well- Manhattan and dirty martini- both well done by the bartender!

    Good food, but took over an hour from the time we ordered to get a couple of simpler entrees. And the place only got busy after we ordered.
