The Catstrand​附近的餐廳

We came to the Murray Arms for dinner as we were guests in the hotel, so decided to try the restaurant. We checked in no problem and was seated quickly, staff gave us plenty of time tk look at the menu, choose a drink, etc. Menu had lots to choose from , quite a good variety. Only concern was the time it took from us ordering our dinner to actually getting it, we waited over 1hr and 10 mins, it was busy, so we understood their was a wait, but that felt that was alot when we got seated to wait that long, however when we asked staff to check this did speed the dinner up. All together lovely place, with a noce atmosphere, would recommend to others and if in the area would look to return.

Very relaxed atmosphere. Service attentive without being overbearing. Not long to wait for food. Food was flavoursome fresh and hot. Plenty of choice on menu. Fresh ice cold table water provided was a nice touch. Extremely comfortable booth was provided. Loads of space for our large party.

We made a booking for 17.15 and were seated in the middle of the restaurant but our social anxiety was gonna be a big problem so we asked to move and was promptly then we ordered drinks quickly and I got an espresso martini which was nice and smooth then ordered shortly after and we got this gorgeous smoked trout which worked quite well after that we had the chicken Kiev which was great especially the breadcrumbs and the Fish dish had. Crispy skin on top and a soft and delicate meat underneath and paired with a nice sauce Throughout we had great, quick, efficient service which has been rare in our trip thanks to Reagan and her team

A simply stunning tasting menu from the team at 1610. Up there with the very best I've eaten. I've frequented some great restaurants over the years even up to 3 star Michelin standard, and this place is up there with the best of them. Each course of the tasting menu was beautifully prepared, presented and very well balanced.The flavours were delicious. The staff are efficient and very friendly and engaging. The restaurant itself is atmospheric and has a beautiful old world charm, which is in line with its close and historical links to Robert Burns. The only thing I would change is music. Both times I have been in, it's been piano music on loop which I feel doesn't fit the surroundings. I would suggest some modern Scottish songs or even contemporary Burns songs ie Eddie Reader singing Burns

We loved it so much we booked a second night. Great staff who work really hard and are friendly. Super food. Lots of local people which is always a good sign.
