Lovely food in a lovely historic pub. Not to be missed

Excellent friendly staff. A good range of beers to choose from. Plentiful plates of food. Only dropped one star because veg not very hot and roast pots a bit dry. Chicken and beef cooked beautifully and extra gravy available which always helps ! Room a little soulless but improved when extra diners arrived and music started ! Overall I'd recommend the Ivy for a very pleasant lunch.

I’ve been to this restaurant many times and it never disappoints me. Excellent service and great food. The decor is just gorgeous

We had Afternoon Tea for 4 at The Cotswold House Hotel. There was a slight mix up with the booking as Open Table had allocated the Hidcote Brasserie instead of Afternoon Tea but the Hotel staff sorted things out smoothly and we were given a lovely table in a fabulous drawing room allocated for Afternoon Tea guests. The tea itself was really very good , one of the nicest we have had and far superior to say the Lygon Arms in Broadway in our view. Service was very good and discrete, perhaps a bit more checking when we had finished as we had to chase for the bill a couple of times but nothing major. Overall highly recommended , lovely ambience, beautiful setting, very good food and very good service
